		<description>Yes, for so many years, May has been associated with heat waves in my mind that it&#039;s astonishing that here you can get snowfall in May.  I once made the mistake of visiting India in May, and realized first-hand why it&#039;s not a good idea to go from 50F to 50C. :)</description>

At the very least, we can safely say that the worst is behind us. I remember being completely shocked when we had a snowstorm in May, during my first year in this country - when May to me meant searing heat and temperatures well north of 100 degrees. That was when I understood why the weather was such a big deal here. Now I have come to love the seasons, particularly the fall.</description>
